Automatic report function in lui
automatic mailing of lui reports would be nice.
We had automated the reports with the old Citrix Usage tool. Now we have to login manually each month to the lui to collect the licensing count
Thanks for the additional feedback on this topic. We look forward to making progress in this area for LUI with an upcoming feature set that allows partners to:
1. Define customers in Citrix Cloud
2. Link LUI users/usage to customers, view monthly usage/users with a per-customer breakdown
3. Easily export users for each customer so it can be used for downstream per-customer billing
We do not yet have committed plans for automatically emailing monthly reports (or automatically reporting to a CSP distributor) though they are ongoing conversations.

I second this request - since LUI is only available for Service Providers, I imagine every CSP will ned to be able to do license tracking across clients, with a view to billing on a per-customer basis. This, or custom reports, would be absolutely critical to us.
LUI should be improved by adding an option to export Usage and Users to a text file, even better if we can schedule a monthly email with that text file.

We could approach this 2 ways:
1. Built-in email feature in LUI service that mails a monthly summary report.
2. API access to LUI service that CSPs could script against to provide their own automation or email mechanism.
I'll take it back to the team and be tracking email reports as a feature request.

Yes, you are right. There was no native report function but because the citrix usage collector is a command line tool it was very easy to let powershell email the results every month using a task scheduler. This isn't possible with the LUI (Website) so it would be nice if it had an automatic report mailer function per license server.
Good feedback. The 'old Citrix Usage Tool' (The Citrix Usage Collector) did not support any email based reports. Are you referring to CloudPortal Services Manager 'report mailer' functionality?
