Currently you can open support tickets via the Workspace Cloud User Interface. However there is no way to monitor these tickets to see progress or interact with support about them. if we were to consider this, what are the main features you would need? Would you prefer to use this to making support calls?17 votes
We should be able to release user license when the user is no longer with the company. This could be done by checking if the user is active in Active Directory. With on prem deployment, we could do this using udadmin on the license server.
I have spoken to multiple people who have mentioned this is the only thing holding them back from going cloud. They have too high of turnover for user licensing to make sense. They would either need concurrent licensing or the functionality mentioned above.16 votes

We’re working on the license release functionality.
It’s not currently based on the AD user enable/disable, but we do plan to support license release.
In cloud the business rule is 30 day license lease (down from 90 day on-premises).
Stay tuned for license release coming in the near future.
At this moment very inconvenient to copy files for VDA remote session from client pc to remote pc. Please improve like it works in classic MS RDS session15 votes
Currently these 2 useful features cannot be enabled in XenApp Essentials due to the Deployed Netscaler being locked down and therefore DTLS which is required cannot be enabled.
Can you please make it so DTLS is enabled by default or is configurable please?15 votes
After moving a customer from RemoteApp to XenApp Essentials I wonder if the following features will be available in the near future:
- assign users / groups specific to an application
- granular access inside xenapp.cloud.com for example only access to the "Manage" folder for help desk personal
- customize the Storefront website
- start / shutdown the master image server directly from xenapp.cloud.com
- create a snapshot of the master image server directly from xenapp.cloud.com
Last but not least; does there a road map exist with planned features in the near future?13 votes
For catalog deployment operations it is necessary to see a report of what was done by who and when. It is especially interesting to see after catalog update is performed how long the operations took for planning future deployments.13 votes
It would be really helpful if we can have License Usage Insight send email every month with the usage.13 votes
Sometimes we need to manually reboot servers and therefore we need to put the server in maintenance mode. But smart scale disables the maintenance mode after a few minutes.
So the only way to reboot a server is to disable smart scale and then put the server in maintenance mode.
Is there a better way to do this without disabling smart scale?

Ability to rename or remove a customer on the dashboard is coming soon. Customers created for use with LUI customer linking/tagging will then be able to be renamed or deleted.
I would like to request that License Usage Insights portal be API Accessible to allow automation and powershell connectivity. This would help us plug LUI into our internal Asset tool for License tracking across multiple clients12 votes
We’re currently reviewing this. The API use case is important and something we’d like to enable for partners in the future.
LUI APIs are currently REST based and public facing… but are not currently documented or optimized for ease of use by external parties such as CSPs.
We will not provide a PowerShell SDK or CMDLET to access LUI, however PS could be used to invoke the REST APIs to script the collection of data.

Workspace Cloud has notifications that are visible in the User Interface. If we were to be able to push these notifications to you what mechanisms would you use, email, push notifications, text messages etc..
If we could do this, would it be of benefit to you, and what controls would you want to apply to enable you to mange the receipt of these so as not to 'annoy' you.
How important is it to you to be able to get 'alerts' to make best use of your time?9 votes
Please add capability to extend the timeout value for Storefront. This is particularly important when using HTML5 Receiver.8 votes
Allow configuration of timezone for each individual administrator. The events typically show up in the timezone where the Citrix Cloud subscription is hosted i.e. UTC time.8 votes
1. Ability for on-site Director to talk to Studio in Citrix Cloud. This helps with anyone that is using Insight w/ on premise NetScaler.
2. Two-factor authentication for StoreFront in Citrix Cloud.
3. The ability to have Receiver populate with on-premise StoreFront locations. This is a hybrid model request where you would have a Desktop in Azure/AWS, that you also want access to on-premise published resources to utilize a VPN (or DirectConnection in AWS).8 votes
