Expand the Current Tenant customisation options which allows XenApp/XenDesktop and License Servers to be split per customer to include Netscaler license SKUs. Being able to allocate a Netscaler to a Customer would be very useful in a multi tenant Service Provider environment1 vote
Thanks for the feedback.
We do have tagging of NetScaler License Allocations in our LUI plan, great to know some partners are waiting for it.
Keep the feedback coming
Want to be able to get the free, paid and total users for each customer when i export to CSV.1 vote
Thanks for the feedback and suggestion – makes sense.
We will revisit our usage export functionality to include the customer context/dimension.

LUI throws up a little warning on the site to say a license server hasn't checked in for a few days - how about sending an email when this happens? We don't check the site very often so wouldn't have noticed this until towards the end of the month!1 vote
Thanks for the feedback.
We are planning to enable this through a series of LUI and platform features.
1. Ensure that the ‘in-service’ alerts for LUI also bubble up as CC platform notifications.
2. Allow for CC platform notifications to be forwarded to admin emails.
Be able to see all your client licences from front page4 votes
You should add a column in License Usage Insights that contains "last seen" or "last logged on" for all users.

The LUI team agrees the ‘last logged in’ (and overall usage patterns per-user, per-month) is valuable context and data to have available.
This is not an immediate priority for LUI but we’ll continue to review and plan for this capability. It is likely this may become first available as a ‘cloud only’ feature when LUI expands to support Citrix Cloud based services.

Possibilty to set users to Mode "free" for even one month of testing/evaluation.3 votes
This feature request has come up a few times now… we’re monitoring it.
Thanks for the feedback.
I would like to request that License Usage Insights portal be API Accessible to allow automation and powershell connectivity. This would help us plug LUI into our internal Asset tool for License tracking across multiple clients3 votes
We’re currently reviewing this. The API use case is important and something we’d like to enable for partners in the future.
LUI APIs are currently REST based and public facing… but are not currently documented or optimized for ease of use by external parties such as CSPs.
We will not provide a PowerShell SDK or CMDLET to access LUI, however PS could be used to invoke the REST APIs to script the collection of data.
automatic mailing of lui reports would be nice.
We had automated the reports with the old Citrix Usage tool. Now we have to login manually each month to the lui to collect the licensing count3 votes
We have a Active Directory domain (cloud.lcl) which our license server is a member of. Only technical support and datacenter managment employees are members of the cloud.lcl domain. We have about 60 customers, each customer maintains their own Active Directory domain. All user accounts exist in the customer AD domains. We need to be able to easily "exclude" (mark free) ALL members of cloud.lcl - as there will never be a "paid" account in that domain. Marking one-by-one is too time consuming and error prone. Also, it would be nice to be able to define an AD Security group as a free account as well. As sometimes there are support-only accounts in the customer domains for purpose of troubleshooting only.

This would fall under our “rule based assignment of users” roadmap item which is not yet in progress.
Domain pattern matching would be one of several rules that could match users and route them to paid vs. free usage categorization.
It would be really helpful if we can have License Usage Insight send email every month with the usage.6 votes
It would be nice if
- LUI could force / trigger the upload.
- free users could be defined with wildcards
- i can hide servers from "Server Status" overview if idont want to see them (Testserver, etc)
- i can export license usage as xls, csv, pdf
- i can export license usage as xls, csv, pdf for each customer / license server
- i can receive license usage reports by mail4 votes
It would be great, if I could use wildcard for "Free Users", such aus "adm_*@dom1" for using name conventions in several different situations. Thanks a Lot!2 votes
More docs on how to use it would be good - the docs on getting the License Usage Insights just say "upgrade the license server to version X" - okay great but our firewall blocks all outgoing, so what do we need to open? Can it not be proxied out?
Not very helpful :(1 vote
In Q3 we’re planning to update the LUI docs with the latest feature and additional information, such as how to configure proxy support on your license server.
Ability to export CSV/list for each set of user accounts/license servers would be nice!6 votes
Thank you for your feedback on the LUI Service.
We’ve enhanced the export feature to include:
- license server FQDN
- full user name
- username (split out from full user name)
- domain name (split out from full user name)
- customer (linked vs. not-linked)
- license server type (paid vs. free)
- user type (paid vs. free)
I’m closing this specific Feature Request as ‘completed’ based on this work. If there are additional export use cases please re-introduce new user-voice ideas/suggestions. Please be as detailed as possible on the functionality and use case.
Thanks and please keep the feedback and feature ideas coming!
